La galette du club d’arts martiaux – Article paru le 1/02/2019 – La Dépêche du Midi

Le club Cornebarrieu Arts Martiaux a présenté ses vœux samedi 26 janvier en proposant aux parents et familles des pratiquants une démonstration des disciplines enseignées. Le judo a ouvert le bal avec son professeur Angélique Diaz, assistée pour l’occasion du plus jeune judoka de la section, pas encore âgé de 4 ans, mais qui a cependant dirigé ses camarades avec autorité sous l’œil amusé des nombreux spectateurs. Les pratiquants de la section aïkido ont enchaîné avec une démonstration pilotée et commentée par le professeur Patrick Bélenguer. Le groupe est bien équilibré cette saison avec une forte représentation féminine et plusieurs adolescents, aux côtés des pratiquants plus aguerris. C’est la section taekwondo qui terminait comme à l’habitude la démonstration avec ses spectaculaires coups de pied sautés, formes techniques et combats à un contre un ou même deux contre un ! Le groupe compte plus de 40 pratiquants cette saison, âgés de 5 à plus de 50 ans, entraînés par Jean-Louis Foucat et Valery Ayé. En tout, ils sont 190 inscrits cette saison au club, répartis dans les trois sections. À noter qu’une activité de self-défense a été proposée en septembre mais n’a pas pu se poursuivre faute de promotion et d’un nombre suffisant de pratiquants. «Elle sera de nouveau proposée la saison prochaine…», a annoncé l’équipe dirigeante. Le maire, Alain Toppan, et plusieurs représentants de vie associative et sportive municipale ont ensuite partagé avec tous ces athlètes petits et grands un verre de l’amitié et dégusté une part de galette des rois, bien méritée.
